The Meinl Artisan Edition Tulip Cajon

Part of the Bulería line from the Artisan Edition Series, the Meinl AEBLTL Tulip cajon features a playing surface finished with a Tulip motif and a 9-ply Baltic birch wood build with 12mm-thick walls. Inside, two separate sets of five hand-wound snare wires have been mounted, each of which can be fine-tuned using the included adjustment key, so the snare-sound can be fully customised. This construction results in a punchy yet defined and warm sound that's supported by the thick and deep bass drum sound shaped by the special bass-reflex port found on the rear.
